Millionaire Tejano Run was represented by his first winner when his son Shaws Creek won June 24 at 5 1/2 furlongs at Woodbine by 7 1/4 lengths. Bred by Hill 'n' Dale Farms, Shaws Creek races for Jam Jar Racing Stable. Runner-up in the 1995 Kentucky Derby (gr. I), Tejano Run (Tejano--Royal Run, by Wavering Monarch) stands at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington.
