One Great Cat, an English group II runner whose dam is a full sister to successful sire Fusaichi Pegasus  , will enter stud in 2009 at Walmac Pennsylvania at Regal Heir Farm near Grantville, Pa. His fee is $5,000.

A 3-year-old son of Storm Cat, One Great Cat won or placed in six of nine races and earned $86,721 racing in Europe for Sue Magnier and Michael Tabor. He ran third in last year’s Urban-I Champagne (Eng-II) and Richmond (Eng-II) Stakes. This year in Ireland, One Great Cat won at a mile and was stakes-placed five days later.

A full brother to group stakes-placed Where’s That Tiger, One Great Cat is out of Blissful (by Mr. Prospector). Second dam, stakes-placed Angel Fever, is a full sister to Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Pine Bluff and half-sister to grade I winner Demons Begone.
