Grade I winner and millionaire Cetewayo came through with his first winner when his son J D’s Firecracker won Sept. 13 at Penn National. The gelding won the six-furlong race in 1:12.61 for Jay F. Young and David W. Geist.

Bred in Pennsylvania by Nancy Harris and John G. Allen, J D’s Firecracker is the sixth winner from seven foals of racing age from the winning M. Double M. mare Gertigo.

A two-time grade I winner, Cetewayo (His Majesty—Aletta Maria, by Diesis) stands at Judith Barrett’s Godstone Farm near Pine Grove, Pa.
