Bustin Stones, one of the year’s leading sprinters, will enter stud at Dr. Jerry Bilinski’s Waldorf Farm near North Chatham, N.Y., following his retirement from racing. It already has been decided to stand the unbeaten son of City Zip  for $6,500.

Bustin Stones’ sixth and most recent win came in the Carter Handicap (gr. I) at Aqueduct in April while posting a 109 Beyer Speed Figure.

After breaking his maiden by seven lengths, Bustin Stones has competed in nothing but stakes. His biggest win prior to the Carter came in this year’s General George Handicap (gr. II) at Laurel. His other wins came in New York in the Screenland, Promonroe, and New York Stallion Times Square Stakes.

Bustin Stones has earned $480,150 for breeder/owner Roddy J. Valente. He is trained by Bruce Levine.

Bustin Stones is scheduled to run in the Sept. 27 Vosburgh Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park and the Oct. 25 Sentient Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. I). He is out of the winning Prospectors Gamble mare Shesasurething.
