Irving Cowan’s Deputy Wild Cat, who previous stood at Rising Hill Farm near Ocala, Fla., will stand in 2009 at Fairberry Farm near Waterloo, Ill. His fee will be $2,500.

By Deputy Minister, Deputy Wild Cat is out of the Kris S. mare Hollywood Wildcat, who was a champion for Irving and Marge Cowan. Deputy Wild Cat is full or half-brother to four stakes winners, including Central Kentucky stallion War Chant  .

Deputy Wild Cat is the sire 2008 stakes-placed runners Ashley River, Lunacat, and Screen to Screen, who ran second in the $600,000 WinStar Derby. Last year, his 2-year-olds averaged $93,983 at auction.
