Millionaire Grey Memo came through with his first winner when his son Raising Memo won Sept. 3 at Stockton in his second start. Owned by Swain Racing, the colt won the five-furlong race in :58.53.

Bred in California by Daphne A Daphne, Raising Memo is the first foal from the Red mare Raising Rainbows.

Grey Memo (Memo—B. Mozelle, by Snow Chief) stands at Ridgeley Farm near Hemet, Calif. His 2008 fee was $3,500.
