Repent, a leading Florida stallion last year with his first crop, will relocate to Tom Simon’s Vinery near Lexington from Vinery’s Florida farm near Summerfield. His fee will be announced later.

A grade II winner, Repent led all Florida freshmen stallions with 18 winners last year and ranked second in the state by progeny earnings. This year, he ranks eighth nationally by earnings on the second-crop list, with $1.6 million.

Repent is represented by 11 runners that have won or placed in stakes, including eight this year. The 2008 group includes grade II winner Crown of Thorns, two-time stakes winner Repenting, and graded stakes-placed Atoned and Famous Patriot.

Nine-year-old Repent (Louis Quatorze  —Baby Grace, by Cipayo) won four graded stakes and was second in the Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I). He stood for $5,000 this year.
