Hours later at Retama Park, Deer Lassie scored by 13 ½ lengths in 1:11.45, winning the six-furlong race as a homebred for James Donald Spry. The Texas-bred filly is the first winner out of the winning Deerhound mare Hot Dreams.
Domestic Dispute (Unbridled’s Song—Majestical Moment, by Magesterial) stands at Northview Stallion Station near Chesapeake City, Md. His 2008 fee was $7,500.
