The attempt by the filly Peppers Pride to break the United States record for most consecutive victories in Thoroughbred racing will be broadcast live by TVG as part of its Labor Day weekend racing coverage from Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico.

Peppers Pride will race Aug. 31 in the Lincoln Handicap, which has a post time of about 6 p.m. (EDT). She has won 16 races in a row, which puts her in a tie with four other racehorses.

The Ruidoso coverage features the $2-million All American Futurity Sept. 1 and $1-million All American Derby Aug. 31.
