York Cancels Tuesday Racing

Racing at England's York racecourse on Tuesday, Aug. 19, was canceled because of a waterlogged turf course.

As a result, the group I Juddmonte International was rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 22, the group I Acomb Stakes for Wednesday, Aug. 20, and the Great Voltiguer Stakes (Eng-II) for Thursday. All original declared runners will still be in each race, according to an announcement from the track.

The track also planned to inspect the course in late afternoon Tuesday to determine if racing would resume Wednesday.
