Restaurant to Benefit Rehab Center

During the month of August, Thoroughbred racing fans that visit Adam's Ribs restaurant will benefit CANTER-Mid Atlantic ex-racehorse retirement and rehabilitation center, as 10% of all receipts with an accompanying coupon will go to the facility.

To participate in the charity, download the Adam’s Ribs’ CANTER-Mid Atlantic Benefit coupon at www.canterusa.org/midatlantic before visiting the restaurant, which is located at 169 Mayo Rd., Edgewater, Md. The coupon must be presented to one’s server.

Over the last three years, CANTER-Mid Atlantic has successfully rehabilitated and placed more than 45 ex-racehorses into caring homes and has assisted in placing more than 2,000 Thoroughbreds directly from the racetrack into new homes. CANTER-Mid Atlantic staff and volunteers regularly visit regional racetracks to assist in finding new homes for ex-racehorses.
