OBSC Sale Begins Tuesday

Amended press release from OBSCA colt by Our Emblem posted the fastest quarter mile breeze, stopping the timer in :21 1/5 on Sunday, during this past weekend's Under Tack Shows in preparation for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2001 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age sale. A total of 453 juveniles and 14 older horses have been cataloged for the two-day sale that begins at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Ocala, Fla.
Consigned by Consigned by Cleveland Wheeler, agent, as Hip No. 239, the Our Emblem colt is out of Lomond's Queen, a half sister to graded stakes winner Guinevere. The fastest three-eighths work was turned in Saturday by Hip No. 18, a filly by Outflanker, clocked in :33 3/5. The bay filly, consigned by Paul Sharp, Agent, is out of Amerispin, by Nice Catch, a half sister to graded stakes winner Amerilad. The fastest eighths were posted Sunday, as six horses were clocked in :10 3/5. They were: Hip No. 251 is a colt by Holy Bull out of stakes placed Meadow Flyer, consigned by Ricky Leppala, agent. Hip No. 306, J.T. and Me, is a colt by Belong to Me consigned by Reno Equine, agent. Hip No. 326 is a colt by Struggler (GB) consigned by Lost Maple Stable, agent. Hip No. 343 is a filly by Miswaki out of a half sister to graded stakes winner Caller One, consigned by Double R Consignment. Hip No. 420, Clear Tone, a half sister to stakes winner Wheeler Oil, is a Jeblar filly consigned by Farnsworth Farms, agent. Hip No. 443, Rizzamatic, is a filly by Rizzi consigned by Mike Akoury, Jr., agent.
