Land of Believe Farm, located in central Pennsylvania about one mile from Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, will be auctioned on site Aug. 21.
According to a release, the full-service, turnkey facility is situated on 96 acres and has four barns, a four-bedroom home, and two apartments. J.P. King Auction Co. will manage the sale of the property.
“The sale is a great opportunity for those in the horseracing business or those who want to get involved,” said J.P. King president and chief executive officer Craig King, who noted the state racing and breeding industry benefits from slot-machine revenue.
Originally built by the Hershey family, the facility has 62 stalls in four barns, about 35,000 square feet of fencing, 18 paddocks, eight foal pens, a Stratton high-speed walker, and two wells.
