Plan for Saratoga Stakes Fees Announced

Fasig-Tipton will pay the nomination and entry fees for any of the six 2009 graded stakes for 2-year-olds at Saratoga Race Course on horses sold at its upcoming Saratoga select yearling sale, it was jointly announced Aug. 2 by the sales company and the New York Racing Association.

The sale is scheduled for Aug. 4-5 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y .

The 2009 Saratoga 2-year-old graded stakes and fees are as follows:

Schuylerville Stakes (gr. III): nomination $100, entry $500

Sanford Stakes (gr. II): nomination $150, entry $750

Adirondack Stakes (gr. II): nomination $150, entry $750

Saratoga Special (gr. II): nomination $150, entry $750

Hopeful (gr. I): nomination $250, entry $1,250

Spinaway (gr. I): nomination $250, entry $1,250
