Edited press release

Hermès will introduce a special edition scarf and tie to benefit Blue Horse Charities at the Cross Gate Gallery Aug. 4-5 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Blue Horse Charities, based in Lexington, is devoted to supporting Thoroughbred rescue and rehabilitation facilities around the country. Proceeds from sales of each scarf and tie will benefit the organization. The scarf, Ecole Portugaise D'art Equestre, and tie specially designed in Hermès signature fine silk, will be avaliable at the Hermès booth at the Cross Gate Gallery.

To mark the occasion, the Hermès scarf and tie are designed in vibrant blues and purples, referencing Blue Horse Charities, which is headed by John Hettinger, a member of The Jockey Club and trustee for the New York Racing Association. Hettinger is involved with the charity in an effort to ensure the safety of horses after their racing careers have ended.

Both scarf and tie will also be available for purchase at selected stores, and at www.Hermes.com.
