Longshots Lead to $118,000 Pick Four at Churchill Downs

A lone bettor at Churchill Downs hit the all-stakes Pick Four wager offered by the track on Saturday, resulting in a payout of $118,097.10. According to the track, the unidentified bettor wagered $8 on the Pick Four into a pool of $145,799.
The payout is the largest in track history for any wager other than a Pick Six. The highest Pick Six payout in track history is $142,913.
The bet linked the Northern Dancer Handicap, won by Compendium ($50); the Fleur de Lis Handicap (gr. III), won by Saudi Poetry ($14.40); Casual Feat's Regret Stakes, which paid $59.40 for the win; and the $831,000 Stephen Foster Handicap, won by Guided Tour ($33.40). (Charts,
