ESPNews to Televise Man o' War Stakes

ESPNews will televise the 49th running of the $500,000 Man o’War Stakes (gr. IT) July 12 at Belmont Park, featuring the turf debut of 2007 Horse of the Year Curlin.

The 11-furlong Man o’War will be race nine on a 10-race card, with approximate post time of 5:15 p.m. EDT.

Curlin’s first start on grass does not figure to be an easy one, as he will be challenged by two former Breeders’ Cup Turf (gr. IT) winners in Better Talk Now and Red Rocks, and Grand Couturier, winner of the Sword Dancer (gr. IT) at Saratoga last year.
