Grade II winner During   was represented by his first winner when his daughter During Deputy won July 5 at Philadelphia Park in her initial start. Owned by Elliot Mavorah, she took the 4 ½-furlong race by 6 ¼ lengths in :52.74.

Bred in Kentucky by Nicholas Lotz and Diana L. Hume, During Deputy is a half-sister to stakes winner Merry Me in Spring and is one of seven winners from seven foals of racing age out of  stakes winner Merry Deputy (by Silver Deputy).

During (Cherokee Run  —Blading Saddle, by Blade) stands for $5,000 at the Hancock family’s Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky.
