Grade II winner Seattle Fitzwas represented by his initial winner when his son Fitzaslew won June 14 at Churchill Downs. Seattle Fitz stands at Douglas Arnold’s Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky.

Bred by Buck Pond, Fitzaslew won the five-furlong race in :58.86 for Alliance Racing II. Fitzaslew is the second winner from the Polish Numbers mare Basic Instinct, who is a half-sister to grade II winner Touch Love.

An Argentine-bred, Seattle Fitz (Fitzcarraldo—Hug a Slew, by Seattle Slew) stands at Buck Pond for $6,500.
