Bred by Buck Pond, Fitzaslew won the five-furlong race in :58.86 for Alliance Racing II. Fitzaslew is the second winner from the Polish Numbers mare Basic Instinct, who is a half-sister to grade II winner Touch Love.
An Argentine-bred, Seattle Fitz (Fitzcarraldo—Hug a Slew, by Seattle Slew) stands at Buck Pond for $6,500.
