Guillaume Tell, a graded and group stakes-placed runner, has been retired from racing and will stand at Monte and Cathy Thomas’ Ups and Downs Farm near Citra, Fla. His fee is $1,500.

An Irish-bred, Guillaume Tell ran second in the Prix Thomas Bryon (Fr-III) at 2. The next year, he placed in the Central Bank Transylvania (gr. IIIT) and Crown Royal American Turf (gr. IIIT) Stakes in consecutive starts in Kentucky. He retired with wins and placings in eight of 14 races and earnings of $109,153.
