Grade I winner Peace Rules not only sired his first winner May 25, but also his initial stakes winner in the process. A daughter, Trifecta King, won the Cinderella Stakes at Hollywood Park in her second start. Bred in Kentucky by Andrew Thompson Company, Trifecta King scored by 3 3/4 lengths in 1:03.49 for the 5 1/2 furlongs. She is owned by Dave Kenney, Mark Leib, and Gary Margolis.
Trifecta King is the first foal from the Unbridled mare Mamita. According to trainer Doug O’Neill, Trifecta King might contest the June 28 Landaluce Stakes at six furlongs at Hollywood.
A three-time grade I winner, Peace Rules (Jules—Hold to Fashion, by Hold Your Peace) stands for $12,500 at Tom Simon’s Vinery near Summerfield, Fla.
