Stakes winners Great Notion  and Scrimshaw were represented by their first winners May 25. Great Notion’s daughter Cherubini won at five furlongs in :59.45 at Churchill Downs in her initial start. She races as a homebred for Silverton Hill.

A Kentucky-bred, Cherubini is the second winner from three foals of racing age from the Silver Deputymare Big Out There.

Great Notion (Elusive Quality  —Evening Primrose, by Dayjur) stands for $3,500 at Northview Stallion Station near Chesapeake City, Md.

Scrimshaw’s daughter Ravin Maniac won at 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.27 at Arlington Park. Bred in Kentucky by Martha Burleson, she races for trainer Larry Rivelli and Richard Ravin.

Ravin Maniac was produced from the winning Boston Harbor mare Radcliffe Yard.

A grade II winner, Scrimshaw (Gulch—Rogue Girl, by Sham) stands for $3,500 at Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms Kentucky near Lexington.
