(Edited press release)

Jockey Erick Rodriguez was transported to Sinai Hospital for X-rays on his left knee and abdomen after he was thrown from his mount during the sixth race at Pimlico Race Course May 25.

His mount, Listen Up, had spurted to the lead in the six-furlong test on the main track and had just surrendered the lead to the ultimate race winner, Puskita, when she banged into the inner rail and sent Rodriguez tumbling over the barrier.

Listen Up was unharmed.
