Refuse to Bend

Irish champion and English classic winner Refuse To Bend was represented by his first winner when a daughter, To The Point, won at Warwick in England in her first start. Bred in Great Britain by Mrs. Johnny Eddis, the filly won the five-furlong race for J.C. Fretwell. To The Point is out of the Diesis mare Be Decisive.

An Irish-bred, Refuse To Bend was Ireland’s champion 3-year-old miler in 2003, the year he won the mile classic Sagitta Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-I). Refuse To Bend (Sadler’s Wells—Market Slide, by Gulch) stands at Sheikh Mohammed’s Kildangan Stud in Ireland.
