Prepping for a run in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), Zayat Stables’ Z Humor worked four furlongs at Churchill Downs April 17.

The son of Distorted Humor  , trained by Bill Mott, went four furlongs in :47.60 under jockey Rene Douglas in company with stablemate Radius.

A $240,000 Keeneland September yearling sale purchase, Z Humor won the Delta Jackpot Stakes (gr. III) at Delta Downs last December, finished fifth behind Fierce Wind and Big Truck in the Feb. 16 Sam F. Davis Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs, ran fourth in the Feb. 24 Fountain of Youth Stakes (gr. II) behind Cool Coal Man, and was recently third to Recapturetheglory in the April 5 Illinois Derby (gr. II).
