Coming off a disappointing last-place finish in the March 15 Tampa Bay Derby (gr. III), Robert LaPenta's War Pass has drawn post position number five in the $750,000 Wood Memorial (gr. I), an April 5 prep for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I). The Wood has attracted a field of 10 3-year-old contenders, including Court Vision, Tale of Ekati, Anak Nakal, and the Todd Pletcher-trained Texas Wildcatter.
