Ruidoso Sales Company in Ruidoso, N.M. will host a Thoroughbred-only sale July 25-26, featuring New Mexico-bred yearlings.
The closing date for the sale is April 15.
The weekend activities will also include the Zia Festival Races at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack and Casino, where New Mexic- bred horses will compete for more than $1-million in purses.
In the past, the Thoroughbred sale was combined with the Quarter Horse sale and held in August.
