Barbara FitzGerald is to joining the marketing team of Tattersalls, an auction company based in England, at the end of March. She will focus on the development and expansion of new and existing overseas markets.
FitzGerald was the director of the internationally renowned 6C Racing, which is relocating to France after the purchase of Haras de Saint Pair by 6C Chairman Andreas Putsch. Prior to joining 6C Racing, she assisted her husband Lord John FitzGerald in his capacity as chief executive of the Emirates Racing Association from 1992 to 1996. FitzGerald also worked for the late bloodstock agent Tote Cherry-Downes for almost 10 years and for the German Direktorium.
