The under tack shows for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. March select sale of 2-year-olds were postponed due to a forecast of severe weather on Friday and Saturday. They have been rescheduled for Sunday and Monday.
Ocala was under a tornado watch Friday morning, with heavy rains expected in the afternoon. Saturday’s weather forecast calls for extremely windy conditions with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour.
Hip numbers 1 – 230 will breeze on Sunday; Hip numbers 231 – 460 on Monday. Both sessions begin at 9 a.m. (EDT) and will be streamed live at obssales.com.
The OBS March Sale will be held March 18 and 19.
