Sinister Minister, runaway winner of the 2006 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), is standing at Arrow Stud in Japan. The 5-year-old son of Old Trieste was sent to Japan last year after retiring with wins and placings in six of 13 races and earnings of $541,826.

Sinister Minister won the Blue Grass by 12 ¾ lengths for Lanni Family Trust, Mercedes Stable, and Bernard C. Schiappa. He then ran in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), but finished unplaced.

Bred in Kentucky by Mr. and Mrs. L. Michael Owens, Sinister Minister is the first foal from stakes winner Sweet Minister (by The Prime Minister).
