Street Sense and Bernardini (above) are two of the Darley stallions that will be shuttling to Australia for the 2008 breeding season.

Eclipse Award winners Bernardiniand Street Sense will be headed to Sheikh Mohammed's Darley operation in Australia for the 2008 Southern Hemisphere breeding season once their duties are completed at Darley near Lexington. Joining them at the Australian branch will be fellow Darley stallions Any Given Saturday, Hard Spun, Henny Hughes, Librettist, and Manduro (GER).

Bernardini, champion 3-year-old of 2006, along with Henny Hughes and Librettist, will be making return trips. Henny Hughes stands at Darley near Lexington, and Librettist holds court at Darley's English center, Dalham Hall Stud, near Newmarket.

The Australian trip will be the first for Any Given Saturday, Hard Spun, and Street Sense, all of whom stand at the Lexington branch. Street Sense, champion 2-year-old male of 2006, won last year's Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

It also will be the first for Manduro, who is based at Darley's Irish branch, Kildangan Stud.

Fees will be set later.
