Rogers Joins Churchill Team

Darren Rogers joins Churchill Downs March 3 as senior director of communications and media services.
Darren Rogers, director of communications at Lone Star Park since 1999, will join Churchill Downs racetrack on March 3 as senior director of communications and media services. Rogers, who also served previously as assistant publicity director at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park, oversaw the press box during Lone Star Park'sinaugural hosting of the 2004 Breeders' Cup World Championships. Prior to his tenure at Lone Star Park, Darren was assistant publicity director at Hollywood Park and Santa Anita.
In addition to assisting the media during the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and the spring meet, Roger will also be involved with Derby credentialing and on-site media services; provide support to the communications staff at other CDI racetracks in Chicago, Miami and New Orleans; and work on a number of corporate communications projects.
