Secret Brand, a 6-year-old son of 1993 Ohio Derby (gr. II) victor Forever Whirl has been retired and will stand the 2008 season at Horse Creek Thoroughbreds near Newell, S.D.

Racing for owner/trainer Lloyd Lockhart, Secret Brand concluded his career with 3 wins in 23 starts, while finishing in the money 11 times.  He is out the Northern Prospect mare, Prospect’s Secret and from the female family of champion older mare North Sider and multiple stakes winner Shawnee Creek.

Secret Brand will stand his first season for a private fee.
