From William Inglis & Son
With entries for the William Inglis & Son Easter broodmare sale closing Feb. 22, Inglis confirmed the Australian auction will feature the complete unreserved dispersal of the Swettenham Stud broodmare band.
The unreserved dispersal will take place on the opening day of the sale, May 4, and kick off the two-day select broodmare portion of the auction. The general session will begin May 6.
“With such a high standard of entries, the 2008 Easter broodmare sale looks sure to be a bumper one,” Inglis director of bloodstock Jonathan D’Arcy said. “The addition of the Swettenham draft adds to the global appeal and cosmopolitan flavor of a sale that already features a group of high-quality mares from the (United States) and (Great Britain) covered Southern Hemisphere time by some of the world’s best stallions.”
