The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced Feb. 11, who will serve on the Sales Integrity Program Monitoring Committee.
The committee is charged with overseeing the implementation and determining the effectiveness of the Sales Integrity Task Force’s recommendations that were issued in November 2007.
“The decisions made by the task force were crucial steps for our industry and the work of the monitoring committee will be equally important,” said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA. “As the recommendations are implemented throughout the year, we believe that the monitoring committee will assess and respond with any appropriate measures to maintain a vibrant and healthy marketplace.”
Members of the monitoring committee are:
