A half-brother to 2006 Horse of the Year Invasor (pictured) was foaled Feb. 3.

A half-brother to 2006 Horse of the Year Invasorwas foaled Feb. 3. The newborn colt is by Distorted Humor  and is out of the Interprete mare Quendom, who is owned by Miserocchi Allesandro and boarded at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington.

Invasor was voted Horse of the Year and champion older male after winning the 2006 Breeders' Cup Classic - Powered by Dodge (gr. I) for Sheikh Hamdan's Shadwell Stable. He also was a Horse of the Year in Uruguay and a champion in Dubai.

The Distorted Humor colt is the fourth foal and the first North American-bred offspring out of Quendom. Her other two offspring, foaled in 2004 and '05, were born in Argentina and are unraced.
