Wagon Limit, sire of grade I winner Silver Wagon, will stand the 2008 season at Moon Lake Equine Center near Elm Grove, La. The 14-year-old son of Conquistador Cielo stood at Arthur and Staci Hancock’s Stone Farm near Paris, Ky., since 2000.

A grade I winner, Wagon Limit has sired 13 runners that have won or placed in stakes. Silver Wagon, winner of the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) at 2 and the Carter Handicap (gr. I) as an older runner in 2007, has earned $1.1 million. Another of Wagon Limit's stakes winners, Rehoboth, has earned $471,000.

Wagon Limit, whose big win came in the 1998 Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) over Gentlemen and Skip Away, is averaging 74% winners and 17% stakes performers from starters. His average earnings per runner is nearly $62,000.

Wagon Limit is out of the stakes-placed Cox's Ridge mare Darlin Lindy. A fee will be announced later.
