From Millennium Farms
Ro Parra's Millennium Farms near Lexington has announced the appointment of Brian Lyle as sales manager.
Most recently having served as director of customer service at Chesapeake Farm, Lyle now joins Millennium's business manager J. Ted Neel and farm manager Bobby Miller.
Lyle, 31, will handle all stallion bookings and work with Miller on the farms' sale consignment business. He will also coordinate with Neel on signing up members in the new Millennium rewards program.
"We are pleased to have Brian join the Millennium team," Parra said. "We are committed to serving our customers by providing a roster of young, attractively priced stallions and the industry-leading Millennium rewards program. Brian will play an important role in growing our business and serving our clients."
Lyle, a native of Arkansas, attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith before being accepted into the Taylor Made Farm intern program in 1997. He was later promoted to assistant yearling manager.
He then worked with Dr. Larry Bramlage, Dr. Scott Hopper, Dr. Rolf Embertson, and Dr. Alan Ruggles in the surgery department at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington before joining Chesapeake in 2004.
