The first reported foal sired by 2005 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Giacomo is a colt born Jan. 13 at Hugh Scates Farm near Shawneetown, Ill. The newborn is the fifth offspring from the stakes-winning Roar mare Roaring Blaze, who was grade II stakes-placed.

Giacomo (Holy Bull--Set Them Free, by Stop the Music) earned $2.5 million in his career. He stands at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky near Paris. His 2008 fee is $12,500.
