Blood-Horse Publications has announced the launch of its Blood-Horse New Stallions Tour, a specialized online video library available on BloodHorse.com and BloodHorseNOW.com.

The New Stallions Tour offers an informative inventory of online videos featuring stallions that will stand their first season at stud in Central Kentucky in 2008.

A sampling of the various video content includes footage of the featured stallions walking, in conformation pose, racing (if available), and head shots, and includes commentary from the horse’s respective stallion manager or farm owner discussing topics such as pedigree, racing history, conformation, disposition, and the types of mares that would cross well with the stallion. Each video is approximately two to three minutes in length.

Beginning Jan. 10, the first seven stallion videos will be posted on the subscriber-benefit site, BloodHorseNOW.com, and one video will be available on BloodHorse.com. The complete library of online videos will eventually contain more than 30 select videos. Featured stallions include such well-known names as Street Sense, Hard Spun, Lawyer Ron, Any Given Saturday, English Channel, Silver Wagon, and Invasor.

“With our growing expansion into online video, it is exciting to be able to provide footage of each stallion that will be standing his first season in 2008 in Central Kentucky,” said Dan Liebman, editor-in-chief of The Blood-Horse. “I feel sure the viewers will enjoy seeing the stallions in their new surroundings and hearing the insightful comments from the stallion managers.”

The Blood-Horse New Stallions Tour is sponsored by NTRA Advantage, OCD Pellets, and Pro-Ride Racing Australia. The videos are free to view on BloodHorse.com and are available free to registered users of BloodHorseNOW.com, a comprehensive news, data, and analysis Web site for subscribers to The Blood-Horse.
