Twenty-one horses remain eligible for the group I Vodafone Coronation Cup at Epsom Downs June 8. The figure is 50% higher than last year.

Godolphin has five horses on the list for the Cup, including Fantastic Light, who finished second to Daliapour last year. Fantastic Light, though, is expected to compete at the Curragh in Ireland Sunday in the Tattersalls Gold Cup.

Mutafaweq, winner of the 1999 Rothmans Royals St Leger at Doncaster and the Canadian International at Woodbine last season, is another Godolphin standout. Other Godolphin hopefuls for the Coronation Cup are Ekraar, Give The Slip, and Hatha Anna.

John Dunlop has both Millenary and Golden Snake eligible for the race. Millenary won the Sagitta Jockey Club Stakes in May. Golden Snake opened his 2001 campaign with a win in the Prix Ganay at Longchamp in France at the end of April.

Sir Michael Stoute has the star filly Petrushka, winner of the Irish Oaks, Yorkshire Oaks and Prix de l'Opera-Hotel at Longchamp last year, among the eligibles.
