The Coolmore agent went on to buy a pair of Montjeu colts, a 310,000gns ($653,303) half brother to group I Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Alberto Giacometti, by Sadler's Wells, and a 380,000gns ($800,813) half-brother to two group I Epsom Derby second-place finishers, Eagle Mountain and Rock of Gibraltar, who was bred by James Wigan’s London Thoroughbred Services and consigned from West Blagdon Stud.
John Ferguson made six purchases, headed by a 290,000gns Pivotal colt out of the listed stakes-placed Monavanna, by Machiavellian, bred by Rebecca Phillips and consigned by John Troy. Angus Gold bought eight racing prospects for Hamdan Al Maktoun including a $240,000gns ($592,531) Green Desert colt offered from Gerry O' Sullivan's Cooneen Stud.
