Mycotoxin Binder Plus Probiotics Available

Lee Hall, vice president of Farmers Feed Mill/Hallway Feeds in Lexington, Ky., said earlier today that his company has sold more than 200,000 doses of mycotoxin binder under the name of Mare-Guard. The binder costs about 30 cents per head per day to feed. Because of recent recommendations to add probiotics to the feed of at-risk animals, Hallway has created Mare-Guard Plus that contains probiotics. The new Mare-Guard Plus, which will cost about 46 cents per head per day to feed, will be available tomorrow, May 18.
