Cashel Castle to Journeyman

Graded stakes winner Cashel Castlewill stand at Brent Fernung's Journeyman Stud near Ocala, Fla., for $2,500. He formerly stood at Cloverleaf Farms II near Reddick Fla.

Cashel Castle captured his first five starts, including the Lafayette (gr. III) and Hoosier Juvenile Stakes. Stakes-placed twice, he earned $239,016.

"Cashel Castle is a big handsome horse and was a top race horse," Fernung said.

An 8-year-old son of Silver Ghost, Cashel Castle is owned by a syndicate that includes Team Block and Brommer Racing Stables. He is out of the Unreal Zeal mare Desviacion. His first foals are yearlings.
