Pavarotti, a stakes-winning son of A.P. Indy, has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla. His fee is $6,500.

First or second in five of six races, Pavarotti led all the way to win this year's Round Table Handicap in track-record time at Arlington Park. A three-time winner, he earned $151,900 for Sue Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith while trained by Todd Pletcher.

Bred by Mt. Brilliant Farm and William S. Farish, Pavarotti sold for $2.5 million at the 2005 Keeneland September yearling sale. He is a half-brother to grade I winner Snow Ridgeand is out of English group-placed Snow Forest (by Woodman).
