Gone West, who is just 10 shy of 100 stakes winners, will stand in 2008 for $85,000 at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington. Mill Ridge, owned by Alice Chandler and her husband, Dr. John Chandler, priced Gone West at $125,000 in 2007.

Gone West, who will be 24 next year, is by Mr. Prospector out of the Secretariat mare Secrettame.

Mill Ridge also announced that Gone West's son, Johar  , had his fee cut to $12,500 from $15,000.
