Aristocrat, Ghostzapper's Full Brother, to Adena Springs

Aristocrat, a winning full brother to Horse of the Year Ghostzapper, has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs South near Williston, Fla. A 5-year-old son of Awesome Again  , he will stand for $5,000.

Bred by Adena Springs and raced by Stronach Stables, Aristocrat was a winner three straight years, with two wins coming at Keeneland and one at Saratoga. He won or placed in seven of 17 races and earned $124,593.

In addition to being a full brother to Ghostzapper, Aristocrat is a half-brother to grade I winner and young sire City Zip. His dam, the stakes-winning Relaunch mare Baby Zip, is a Kentucky Broodmare of the Year.
