Sabre d'Argent remains in Florida for 2008, but relocates to Bridlewood Farm.

Sabre d'Argent, a half-brother to successful young sire Exchange Rate  , is relocating to Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla., where he will stand for $5,000.

A $1-million Keeneland September yearling, Sabre d'Argent was a two-time stakes winner in England, once at the group level, and was graded stakes-placed in New York. He retired with five wins from 10 starts and earnings of $158,607.

"We are very excited about the addition of Sabre d'Argent to our stallion roster," said farm general manager George G. Isaacs. "With the proven success of his half-brother, Exchange Rate, and the huge influence that the legendary Kris S. had on the breed internationally, we feel he offers a tremendous opportunity to Florida breeders."

A 7-year-old son of Kris S., Sabre d'Argent is out of the graded stakes-winning Seeking the Goldmare Sterling Pound. He previously stood at Double Diamond Farm near Ocala, Fla., where he covered 51 mares in 2007.
