Vindication, seventh on the first-crop sire list by progeny earnings, will stand once again for $60,000 at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farm near Lexington.
"We had a lot of discussion about raising Vindication's stud fee for 2008," Sikura said. "Ultimately. it was decided that despite his great start, with 14 winners, a grade II winners, 4 stakes horses, one of which was grade I-placed, we wanted to continue to attract the best mares possible by keeping the stud fee unchanged."
